The 60 year old Internet bully and social media ‘troll’ who in my opinion must be ‘several bytes short of a USB data stick’ after sending such rude threats..
This guy has been convicted (though interestingly not imprisoned) of writing abusive and threatening emails and tweets to well known politicians, businessmen and celebrities.
Having sent a stream of abusive across the World Wide Web he then decided to hide his face from cameras last night. So clearly he can’t stand the taste of his own medicine.
God knows why he wrote those terrible things and death threats. It must have something to do with his mental needs. It just has to!
But there is simply no excuse for this type or level of abuse on the Internet… or anywhere else for that matter. A threat written in an email must be treated in the same way as any other form of threat.
If a Politician puts their view forward in regard to a matter of government policy, or a celebrity shoots their mouth off (or puts their ‘Size 12′ in it) then anyone should be able to put forward an opposing view.
That is ‘Right of Speech’ which must be maintained in this country. Despite what some Tories may think.
There are two sides to every story. We are not all living in the ‘George Orwell Theme Park’ -just yet.
But writing abusive threats on the Internet is not and these ‘Trolls’ (like Zimmerman) should be caught and fined. It’s not enough to simply tell them to keep away from the celebrities concerned.
These trolls should be banned from social media and the Internet until they know how to use them properly. Bullying and threatening behaviour should always be weeded out and dealt with.
Meanwhile, may I suggest to Mr Zimmerman that the time he would have spent writing yet another abusive email to a well-known female politician or television personality could be spent giving himself a haircut and a shave.
Oh yes… And get a job, Frank!
Tidy yourself up, get out more and keep your filthy mouth shut! (and that goes for all you Internet trolls out there!)
