Last year Louise Mensch dumped her constituency and the voters of Corby almost as quick as the jet that transported her to her new millionaire lifestyle in America – and probably with thousands of pounds of our taxpayers money in her Gucci handbag. (Cash given to all MPs when they resign from their job).
Her latest ‘here today, gone tomorrow’ project, and hot on the heels of her now defunct Twitter alternative, is her new web-blog called ‘Unfashionista’.
It boasts the very appropriate heading, ‘The Lazy Girl’s Guide To Gloss’, includes the even more appropriate slogan, ‘Maximum Style, Minimum Effort’ and will soon boast pictures of Mensch with speech bubbles above them.
This obviously has all the potential of turning her into a comic-strip fashion icon. A sort of cross between Victoria Beckham and ‘Dan Dare – Pilot of the Future or until she gets fed up doing it’.
Her new fashion website begins its journey across your computer screen by showing you a clean pair of heels.
Which ironically is what she showed Corby, the Conservative Party and Great Britain as a whole.
