What do you get if you drop that camp bloke from Channel 4′s ‘Coach Trip’, a second-rate cruise ship and all of the rejects from ITV’s ‘Take Me Out’ into a blender and turn it on?
Answer: ‘Brendan’s Love Boat’.
Just why the hell anyone with half a brain cell would want to trap themselves all at sea with umpteen tv cameras pressing down their neck and have to constantly interact with someone who acts like Charles Hawtrey beats the hell out of me.
As indeed does Channel 4′s reasoning for commissioning it in the first place.
But as it will probably be screened during the summer, at least we can all go out and mow the lawn whilst it’s on!
