The name of the man who invented the mechanical drawing toy Etch-A-Sketch.
This was the little red plastic toy that created erasable drawings by twisting two white dials that controlled the horizontal and vertical control of the pen inside it.
It was great! As long as you didn’t want to draw circles.
Mr Cassagnes passed away a few days ago. He lasted slightly longer than his toy – a good eighty-six years.
Apparently he didn’t have a funeral.
Someone simply turned him upside down, shook him violently and he instantly vanished from view.
