A pair of Queen Victoria’s very wide elasticated linen bloomers have just been sold for three hundred and sixty quid during an Essex auction of royal memorabilia.
Of course Prince Philip has made so many bloomers in his time that if they were laid end to end they would no doubt stretch all the way to Leicester and back.
